Not sure where you fit?
Five quick questions, one clear recommendation, and prep tips for your session type.

The photographer is also the makeup artist
Most studios send you to a makeup chair, then a camera. Here, the same person understands both. Bradford Rogne has worked as a Los Angeles portrait photographer for more than two decades and as a credited celebrity makeup artist for more than 26 years.
That overlap changes the session: wardrobe, skin, hair, expression, pose, and lighting are handled as one visual problem—not six separate add-ons. Men's camera grooming is complimentary. Women's hair and makeup is a flat $175 across every look.
Four hundred-plus reviews and recommendations across Google, Yelp, Facebook, and LinkedIn—and the same themes keep coming back: people relax faster than expected, the lighting does them favors, and the session turns out to be fun.

The studio
Sessions happen in a private, appointment-only studio at Factory Place in Downtown Los Angeles—camera room, makeup and grooming station, and space to change looks between setups.
Company teams that can't come downtown can book on-location headshot days at their own office anywhere in the region.
You do not need to arrive knowing how to pose
Most clients are not professional models. Direction is part of the session, not something you are expected to bring.
Perfectly normal. The session is directed from posture and angles to expression and eye contact.

FAQ
Quick answers about headshot types, pricing, the studio, hair and makeup, retouching, delivery, and what makes the session different.
Start with the job the image must do, then compare portfolios for consistency—not just one favorite photograph. Look for a photographer whose lighting, direction, expression, finishing, pricing, and session process fit you. Bradford Rogne works with actors, executives, entrepreneurs, and teams who want clear direction, believable expression, natural finishing, transparent pricing, and a photograph that looks like them on a very good day.
Established Los Angeles studios advertise sessions from roughly the low $200s into the $900+ range, but makeup, extra looks, and retouching change the final total. Bradford's studio sessions begin at $325 for one look, with each additional look $100. Use the 2026 pricing report and calculator to compare the whole number.
